Matrimony

By reason of their state in life and of their order, [spouses] have their own special gifts in the People of God. This grace proper to the sacrament of Matrimony is intended to perfect the couple’s love and to strengthen their indissoluble unity. By this grace they ‘help one another to attain holiness in their married life and in welcoming and educating their children.’
— CCC 1641, cf. LG 11

As a parish family, we offer congratulations and blessings to couples seeking the Sacrament of Matrimony! Please contact the Pastor at least eight months before the date of the wedding. The celebration within the Church is central to the Sacrament. No arrangements should be made for a reception until you have made arrangements with the Church.

Marriage Resources

If you were married outside of the Church (such as in a “civil marriage”), you may choose to have your marriage sanctified. Convalidation is the way by which couples who have previously been married outside the Church can receive the graces & blessings of the Sacrament of Matrimony.

We welcome couples who are seeking to sanctify their marriage. To begin the process, please contact the Pastor to schedule a meeting.
