Anointing & Ministry to the Sick

If someone is gravely ill or dying, a priest can be requested to administer the Sacraments. Patients, loved ones, or medical staff can request this visit using the number below.

Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint [him] with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.
— James 5:14

Any person who is “in danger of death from sickness or old age” may receive the Anointing of the Sick (CCC 1514). To request the Sacrament, please call the Parish Office at 508-679-6732.

Those who are homebound (that is, unable to attend Mass due to sickness) can receive home visits from a Eucharistic Minister for the reception of Holy Communion. They may also request visits for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. To request these Sacraments for a homebound person, please call the Parish Office at 508-679-6732.
